As Seen on Fox 11: Braised Short Ribs
Braised Short Ribs are relatively easy to do, yet they just take some time. It’s a terrific beef alternative because it gives you another delicious red meat option.
We use boneless short ribs and dust them in flour and fresh thyme, and then pan sear them. Then, we add a rich stock that consists of beef stock, red wine, thyme, mushrooms, smoked bacon, and we roast it in the oven for about 5 hours.
We reduce the stock down into a thick sauce. We sit the short ribs on gorgonzola polenta and add roasted root vegetables. It’s sitting and waiting for you while you enjoy your presents and people. And you can reheat then in plenty of broth!
