Meet the Team

Our team is our family. Meet our dedicated, committed and inspired staff. As a team, we work hard, share laughs and break bread together.

Team Members

Roundabout has long believed in family values, which are rooted in our business. These values are the reason why Roundabout continues to thrive. Many of our team members have been with Roundabout for more than 8 years.

Chris Nealon

The passion for the culinary arts was passed down to Chris from his beloved grandfather. He started his first cooking job for a small catering company while still in high school and continued to develop his culinary background throughout his life working for distinguished golf resorts and worked with distinguished chef Charlie Palmer. He is a competitive home brewer and has previously won a local homebrew championship.

Ricky Torres

Ricky started at Roundabout as a young adult – 18 years old to be exact. We worked his way up under Chef Colin’s wings, having started as a dishwasher, then prepping food and working the brunch shift at Roundabout Bistro when it was just Colin and MaryBeth working their shifts alongside him. He would cook during the brunch hour, then wash dishes after.

Hard work and having some of the best mentors were reasons why Ricky decided that the culinary industry was for him. He has been solely with the Roundabout family for eight years, cooking up everything from small plates to school lunches to his favorite style, American Bistro cuisine.

You can see Ricky in the Roundabout Catering kitchen managing its daily responsibilities; everything from prepping food, managing schedules, being on-site at events and ordering ingredients. He loves to go fishing when he’s not preparing one.

Nick Walther

Nick started with the Roundabout team six years ago. On his first day on the job as a dishwasher, Chef Colin fed him steak for a family meal and he knew he wanted to stay. Since working in the dish pit, he moved on to assisting the school lunch program and delivering Roundabout Meal Prep. Nick now runs the warehouse and rentals department. There are few people who know more about everything that goes on behind-the-scenes than Nick.

Erin MacDonald

Erin has been in the hospitality industry as long as she has been able to work. Her first restaurant job was cooking in a pizza kitchen, and once she started, she never looked back. She attended Washington State University where she graduated with a bachelor’s in Hospitality Business Management.

Moving back to Minnesota after college, she continued to work in and manage restaurants. After three years as GM in a restaurant in Minneapolis, she realized she missed the mountains and the West Coast. She made the move to Reno in 2016 and has been with the Roundabout team ever since.
